Falade-Nwulia Named Hepatitis Hero

Seun Falade-Nwulia, assistant professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, recently received the Hepatitis Hero Award from the Viral Hepatitis Action Coalition (VHAC) of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in recognition of her work studying ways to improve hepatitis C testing and linkage to care in public health clinics and her continued efforts to find effective strategies for improving hepatitis C testing, care and cure among marginalized populations. She will be presented the award at the Summit for the Elimination of Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C as Public Health Threats in the United States in April.
