The first Biocontainment Speaker Series hosted by the Department of Medicine and the new Johns Hopkins Biocontainment Unit will take place on Friday, April 3 from 3:00-4:30 P.M. in the Sheikh Zayed Tower’s Chevy Chase Bank Auditorium.
Friday’s speakers include Ian Crozier, a physician who contracted Ebola and survivied after developing acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and renal failure, and William Fischer, a former Hopkins Pulmonary & Critical Care fellow who has done both clinical work and research in West Africa.
