Eleventh Annual Northwestern Cardiovascular Young Investigators’ Forum

Research in cardiovascular disease is key to understanding the pathophysiology of disease and unlocking new treatments. It is with these thoughts that Dr. Robert Bonow, program chair of the Eleventh Annual Northwestern Cardiovascular Young Investigators’ Forum, is hosting this CME-accredited program. The forum is designed for junior faculty and fellows enrolled in U.S.-based cardiology fellowship programs, who are conducting clinical or basic science research in cardiovascular disease, including heart failure, ischemic heart disease, atherosclerosis, hypertension, thrombosis, arrhythmias and nephrology.

Eligible candidates should submit an abstract of their research for judging by an expert faculty. The top 44 candidates with the highest scores will be provided with support to attend the forum in Chicago and present their research. Top research presentations will be rewarded a grant for further cardiovascular research. Visit the Call for Abstracts here for more information.

Abstract submission deadline: Friday, June 26, 2015

This unique forum not only serves as an educational experience, but also provides a valuable competitive and networking opportunity. If you have questions please contact Julie Maravalhas, Senior Program Manager, at (973) 443-3825 or [email protected].
