The School of Medicine Synergy and Innovation Awards are open to all faculty, and applications are due on May 1, 2015.
The Synergy Awards aim to spark new collaborative projects between investigators and enhance scientific achievements of the highest quality and impact. As long as one of the co-principle investigators include a school of medicine faculty member, collaborations across all Johns Hopkins entities are eligible for consideration, and all levels of academic faculty are encouraged to apply. The Innovation Awards will support new single-investigator projects that have not been previously funded or published. Investigators will not be penalized for proposing unfunded and unpublished projects in their primary area of research, and investigators at all levels are encouraged to apply. The awards will be evaluated on the quality of potential impact of the proposed science.
