Medicine (and Compensation) Matters: Compensation Committee

The next major step in our efforts to develop a comprehensive compensation plan for the department is to convene members of the DOM compensation committee. This committee will be primarily tasked to provide guidance on the steps necessary to operationalize the model over the next year and serve as an advocate for education and adoption by our faculty. The committee will not specifically address salary reviews or standards for promotion as these efforts will be led, in large part, by our soon to be named Vice Chair for Faculty Development & Promotions.

By way of this message, we are requesting self-nominations for those who are interested to serve a two-year term as a member of the committee. The time commitment and example of duties are outlined below though actual duties will change as the model evolves.
