The JHU Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center (OAIC) is seeking proposals from faculty researchers for studies related to frailty and late-life decline. Successful applicants would receive salary, research core support and mentorship in aging and frailty research (biological, clinical, translational and epidemiological) through one of the following OAIC funding mechanisms:
- OAIC Pilot/Exploratory Studies Core (Pilot studies)
- OAIC Biostatistics Core (Development project)
- OAIC Biological Mechanisms Core (Development project)
OAIC-supported faculty members have been extraordinarily successful over the past 5 years, with a strong record of subsequent K or R awards that stem directly from the science and career enhancement produced as part of OAIC support.
The deadline for applications is Friday July 10 at 5 p.m. For more information, click here: http://coah.jhu.edu/oaic/request-proposals.html or contact Brian Buta, OAIC administrator at [email protected].
