Pulmonary Hypertension Program receives PHA Accreditation

The Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) recently certified the DOM Pulmonary Hypertension Program as a Center of Comprehensive Care for patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH). This accreditation demonstrates the team’s clinical excellence in diagnosis and comprehensive management of PH patients through criteria established by world leaders in the field.

The team, led by Paul Hassoun, professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and including Drs. Stephen Mathai, Rachel Damico and Todd Kolb, joins a group of 26 Pulmonary Hypertension Care Centers around the country dedicated to diagnosis and treatment of this rare and debilitating disease, thus providing hope for the community at large through support, education, research, advocacy and awareness.

Patients can be referred to the DOM Pulmonary Hypertension Program by calling 410-614-6311 or emailing Traci Housten at [email protected].
