Suzanne Jan De Beur, associate professor in the Division of Endocrinology, was elected to the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) as a councilor. The ASBMR is a professional, scientific and medical society established to bring together clinical and experimental scientists who are involved in the study of bone and mineral metabolism. Dr. Jan De Beur will join a council of 13 members elected from institutions worldwide and serve a three-year term beginning the day of the annual scientific meeting in Seattle.
