The Department of Medicine has completed its third quarter, and the fundraising total is $20,407,991 in gifts and pledges as of April 25, 2016. Of note, this includes a $6M grant commitment from the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation for Lyme disease research. Congratulations to Dr. John Aucott and his team in the Division of Rheumatology.
We have recently completed a Faculty & Staff Guide to Philanthropy specifically for the Department of Medicine. The development staff plans to meet one-on-one with faculty and other staff members to share this guide and encourage more discussion about opportunities to raise funds from grateful patients.
