Johns Hopkins Medicine International (JHI) is currently in search of a medical director for Tokyo Midtown Medical Center.
JHI has a number of international clinical affiliates ranging from hospitals to ambulatory clinics. A contractual component of these affiliations is appointment of a project medical director. This is a compensated part-time (approximately 10%) position for a clinician to work with JHI and the affiliate on a variety of work streams that vary among the projects, but typically include topics such as safety and quality, clinical operations and program development, strategic planning, knowledge transfer and relationship management. Each project medical director typically joins JHI staff on 1-2 short trips a year to the affiliate.
