The Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical and Translational Research is hosting an information session to introduce Truven Health MarketScan® Research Databases and discuss how it can be useful to study teams. The session will take place Wednesday, June 22 from 10-11 a.m. in the Tilghman Auditorium in the Miller Research Building. All study team members are encouraged to attend.
The databases hold approximately 500 million claim records obtained from a group of selected large employers, health plans and government and public organizations. Attendees will learn how the patient data can be utilized in their studies and more about the source of the information, how it works and the individual databases that are included. The MarketScan Research Databases link paid claims and encounter data to detailed patient information across sites and types of providers.
The event is free and registration is required. To RSVP visit: http://truvenmarketscan.eventbrite.com
