The Institute for Educational Excellence (IEE) will be offering a half-day Foundations of Teaching course for new faculty members who may need a bit of help with teaching or for those who simply have an interest. The first Foundations of Teaching session will be held on Thursday, August 4, as the first session of the 2016 IEE Teaching Camp. Participants can attend just that morning for the course or stay all day Thursday and Friday, August 5. As always, faculty can use their tuition remission benefit to attend; SOM students, residents, fellows and post-docs attend for free.
