Megan Martin has been named the assistant administrator for sponsored finance effective October 3. Hailing from Westminster, Megan came to Hopkins through an internship program at Towson University. She began working in the Department of Surgery after earning a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix. She then worked in the Business Office before beginning her 11-year tenure here in the Department of Medicine. During that time, she has worked as division manager of both Molecular Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology.
Megan will be the department’s resource for post award management as well as budgeting and financial reporting for our sponsored accounts. In her first weeks and months in the role, she will meet with many of you to learn your current processes in an effort to find opportunities to streamline and automate workflow across the divisions.
