Raquel Greer, assistant professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, received the 2016 Doris Duke Early Clinician Investigator Award from the Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical and Translational Research. This award aims to provide financial and mentoring resources for one to two years to junior physician scientists who are working to have a productive career while also caring for family members including children, partner and parents. Raquel's research focuses on identifying and addressing ethnic/racial disparities in care and clinical outcomes of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and CKD risk factors.
