Kelly Gebo, professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, recently attended the Inclusive STEM Education for Youth of Color conference hosted by the White House Council on Women and Girls, My Brother's Keeper Initiative and the Office of Science and Technology Policy in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI). She was selected to attend based on her leadership in the field. The event included panel discussions, a lightning talk series and breakout sessions.
