Panagis Galiatsatos, fellow in the Division of Pulmonary, was named one of eight employees to receive a Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service Award at the 35th annual commemoration on Friday, Jan. 13. Panagis is being recognized due to his involvement with Medicine for the Greater Good, a program he co-founded with colleagues from Bayview that aims to train and educate medical residents in order to bridge the gap in health disparities between the hospital and surrounding community.
