Halperin Named NAI Fellow

Henry Halperin, professor in the Division of Cardiology, was recently selected to become a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors. Henry will join 757 fellows worldwide who have been named as the inventor on one or more U.S. patents and demonstrated a spirit of innovation that has made an impact on the quality of life, economic development and welfare of society. He will be inducted at the annual conference in Boston this April. Henry is the first from the Department of Medicine and one of only nine from all of Hopkins to receive this honor.
