Halima Amjad, assistant professor in the Division of Geriatrics, has been selected by the Board of Directors and the Awards Committee of the American Geriatrics Society as the recipient of the 2017 American Geriatrics Society Outstanding Junior Research Manuscript Award. This award recognizes the research that Halima performed under the mentorship Dr. Julie Bynum from Dartmouth. This paper, Continuity of Care and Health Care Utilization in Older Adults With Dementia in Fee-for-Service Medicare, was published last year in JAMA Internal Medicine.
