Sherita Golden, professor of Endocrinology and executive vice chair of the DOM, was recently named the co-recipient of the prestigious Walter Reed Distinguished Achievement Award from the University of Virginia recognizing her professional accomplishments, outstanding innovation and exemplary leadership in the field of Medicine. She will be presented with the award by the dean of the UVA School of Medicine this April.
