Sherman Joins Diabetes Center

Ronald L. Sherman, DPM, MBA, FAPWCA, has joined Johns Hopkins Medicine as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Surgery as a diabetic podiatric surgeon focusing on treating the needs of diabetic patients in The Diabetes Center and the Multidisciplinary Diabetic Foot and Wound Center at the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center.

Dr. Sherman received his doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1982 and completed his master’s in Business Administration specializing in Health Care Management from the University of Baltimore in 2000. He is board certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery from the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also board certified in Wound Care from the Council of Medial Education and Testing and holds membership in the American Diabetes Association. Dr. Sherman previously served as a director of the Podiatry Surgical Residency program at the University of Maryland and Mercy Medical Center for over a decade. He has been practicing podiatric medicine and surgery for the past 30 years in Baltimore.
