Rita Kalyani, associate professor in the Division of Endocrinology, was recently deemed one of Maryland's Top 100 Women for 2017 by The Daily Record. The popular news source began honoring outstanding women leaders who have not only made contributions through their professional careers, but through community service and mentoring in 1996. This year, a record 435 women were nominated. Honorees will be celebrated at an awards program in April.
