Older Americans Independence Center Requesting Proposals

The Older American Independence Center (OAIC) is seeking proposals for two upcoming awards.

The Pilot/Exploratory Studies Core aims to fund projects to develop interventions or treatments for the syndrome of frailty in older Americans with discovery aimed at impacting the larger field of frailty science. Support may range up to $30,000 in direct costs for a one-year period.

Proposals are due by Friday, April 14.

The Research Education Core supports junior faculty career development in frailty research by providing salary support of up to $30,000 for one year. Instructors, assistant professors, research associates and assistant scientists are eligible.
