Kunchok Dorjee, research fellow in the Division of Infectious Diseases, and mentor Richard Chaisson, professor in ID, were recently named the recipients of the 2017 Mentee-Mentor Award in the Clinical Research category from the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs. This award recognizes Johns Hopkins School of Medicine postdoctoral fellows and their mentors for outstanding contributions to science and for exemplifying an exceptional mentor-mentee relationship. The two were recognized for their project aimed at eliminating TB in Tibetan schoolchildren. The award was presented at the 4th Annual Postdoctoral Retreat on Wednesday, April 12.
