Cynthia Rand, professor in the Division of Pulmonary, is one of three JHU faculty members to receive the Provost's Award for Excellence in Faculty Mentoring, recognizing her commitment to helping early- and mid-career faculty advance their careers. This award in its second year comes with a $5,000 honorarium and is part of a series of initiative aimed at strengthen mentoring across the university.
