Robert Silciano, professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, is one of 84 new members elected to the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) in recognition of his “distinguished and continuing achievements in original research.” The NAS was established in 1863 by President Abraham Lincoln and provides policy advice to the U.S. government.
