Andrew Byrd was named the division administrator for the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in late September. His start at Johns Hopkins University two years ago as the division administrator for Gyn & GI Pathology marked a return home to Maryland after spending five years as the assistant administrator for the Department of Ob/Gyn & Reproductive Sciences at Yale University.
Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Robert H Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. He started his professional career here in Baltimore as a fixed income portfolio assistant for the International Bond fund at T. Rowe Price.
