"Responsible Mentoring in the Clinical Research Arena,” will take place on Thursday, Oct. 26, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in Hurd Hall and feature presentations by Dave Thomas, director of the Division of Infectious Diseases, co-director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Aids Research Clinical Core and Stanhope Bayne-Jones Professor of Medicine; and Suzanne Topalian, director of the Melanoma Program, associate director of the Bloomberg-Kimmel Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy and professor of surgery and oncology. Drs. Thomas and Topalian will share their perspectives, tips and experiences related to the mentoring of trainees.
This event will also be simulcast to the Levi Watkins Conference Room, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (Mason F. Lord Building, Center Tower, third floor) and to Room 1310 of the Outpatient Care Center in Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.
