For the first time, residents and faculty members of the Osler Medical Residency Training Program participated in the Johns Hopkins Adopt-a-Family program of the Office of Work, Life, and Engagement. Over $1,500 worth of gifts and funds were donated to provide holiday cheer to families selected through the Furman L. Templeton Preparatory Academy and The Franklin Center. The residents had a fantastic time collecting and wrapping the gifts and plan to continue serving the East Baltimore community through ongoing participation in the Department of Medicine's Civic Engagement Initiative.
