GTPCI Tuition Scholarship for Postdoctoral Fellows

To increase enrollment of postdoctoral fellows in the Graduate Training Programs in Clinical Investigation (GTPCI), the GTPCI Advisory Council will fund 1 to 2 scholarship awards which will provide full tuition support and associated fees ($52,368) along with a $2,500 stipend to be used for travel and/or research expenses for the next 3 consecutive years.

Requirements to receive this award include:

  • Acceptance into GTPCI PhD program using the standard application; DUE MARCH 1 (https://www.jhsph.edu/admissions/how-to-apply/). Include an additional paragraph in the Personal Statement section indicating your desire to be considered for the award, and stating that there are no other tuition sources (e.g. T32) currently available for use.
  • Divisional/Departmental guarantee of protected time for 3 years of support for completion of coursework and thesis research (75% effort).  This could be accomplished from a T32 stipend or an alternative funding source.
  • Competitive selection by an internal scientific review committee (decisions to be announced by May 1).
