The High Value Practice Academic Alliance (HVPAA) and Health Research & Educational Trust of the American Hospital Association invite you to participate in the Order Wisely Conference on Friday September 21, followed by the Architecture of High Value Health Care National Conference September 22-23 at the Baltimore Convention Center. This activity has been approved for 21.75 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM & MOC points will be available.
The Order Wisely program includes 25 targeted sessions on high value ordering and prescribing to avoid low value care, including appropriate imaging for the 8 CMS Priority Clinical Areas. Beginning January 2020, CMS will assess all ordering providers' advanced imaging ordering appropriateness in these 8 areas, and outliers will be required to obtain preauthorization for imaging. As such, we want to ensure that medical providers are knowledgeable about best imaging practice.
