Paul O’Rourke, assistant professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, has been appointed chair of the Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM)'s ProudtobeGIM Task Force. #ProudtobeGIM is a national campaign from the SGIM aimed at educating medical students and residents about the opportunities available in general internal medicine and encourage interest in GIM careers. The campaign recently received a funding grant from the Hess Foundation. Paul is also the secretary/treasurer-elect for the Mid-Atlantic Region of the SGIM.
