Armstrong Institute Patient Safety and Quality Leadership Academy

Are you interested in leading successful quality improvement or patient safety activities? Do you want to lead an innovative project to improve clinical practice?

Faculty and staff of the Department of Medicine are encouraged to apply to the Armstrong Institute Patient Safety and Quality Leadership Academy.

During the Leadership Academy, participants will initiate, plan and lead a sustainable, multidisciplinary patient safety or quality improvement project within their clinical area at Johns Hopkins. Participants receive Lean Sigma training and attend interactive biweekly sessions, with topics such as human factors methods, high reliability organizing and coaching teams, which develop skills to implement and evaluate QI projects and prepare them for institutional quality and safety leadership roles at Johns Hopkins.

Applications will be accepted through Friday, April 20. There is no direct cost to participants.
