Sunghee Flores, M.B.A, was named division administrator for the Division of Nephrology. Sunghee started her professional career with Johns Hopkins University Department of Biomedical Engineering in 2002 working with grants and contracts and departmental finances. She remained in that position for five years before leaving to join the Medical Clinic P.A. as CFO in 2007. She then took a position at the University of Maryland School of Medicine where she worked in sponsored programs administration and clinical financial administration.
Sunghee received her bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Chonnam National University, South Korea and her master’s degree in business administration from Loyola College in Maryland. She is working toward a master's of music degree in vocal performance from Towson University, which she expects to receive in May 2018.
She is an active member of Society of Research Administration (SRA) and serves as a church soloist and occasionally participates in local operas.
