Clinical Shadowing Opportunities for MERIT Scholars

Why should I participate?

  • The program allows our MERIT students to have a real-life experience in the health care field. By serving as a preceptor, you can provide this life changing opportunity.
  • 100% of MERIT Scholars go on to 4-year colleges. Last year MERIT Scholars earned full scholarships to Brown, Johns Hopkins, Howard and other elite institutions.

What is my role as a preceptor?

Allow MERIT Scholars to shadow you as you work for short periods of time.
