Maunank Shah, associate professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, was honored with the Dr. David Glasser Memorial Tuberculosis Control Award from the Maryland State Department of Health in recognition of his significant contributions to tuberculosis prevention and control in the state. Maunank was cited for his innovation and compassion in leading the City TB program.
