Sharp Receives ATS Fellowship in Health Equality

Michelle Sharp, fellow in the Division of Pulmonary, was awarded the 2018 American Thoracic Society (ATS) Fellowship in Health Equality for her Sarcoidosis Low Health Literacy Patient Education Project. The fellowship aims to support the efforts of senior fellows, junior faculty or post-doctoral students with research, clinical and policy endeavors to advance health equality for patients with respiratory disease, critical care illness or injury and sleep disordered breathing. She will receive up to $25,000 in support beginning July 1, 2018.​
