Keira Cohen, instructor in the Division of Pulmonary, was selected to receive the Burroughs Wellcome Fund 2018 Career Award for Medical Scientists. The award aims to bridge advanced postdoctoral/fellowship training and the early years of faculty service for physician-scientists who are committed to an academic career. She will receive $750,000 over five years in unrestricted research funds beginning September 1, 2018.
