Bruce Leff, professor in the Division of Geriatrics, was recently named the chair-elect of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Council. The ABIM Council designs policies and procedures for certification and maintenance of certification with peers across all the specialties of internal medicine to ensure the quality, relevance and effectiveness of ABIM's programs. Bruce also serves as the chair of the ABIM Geriatric Medicine Board.
