Fingerhood and Alvanzo Recognized at Bloomberg American Health Summit

Michael Fingerhood, associate professor in the Division of Chemical Dependence, and Anika Alvanzo, assistant professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, were named two of ten heroes recognized by Michael Bloomberg at the inaugural Bloomberg American Health Summit in Washington D.C. The summit took place on November 29-30 to bring together innovators and policymakers from around the country who are woking to address some of the challenges facing public health in the U.S.
