Leading Transformation Value-Based Healthcare Executive Education Program

Changes in the health system environment have made it very difficult for already busy clinicians and leaders to take time out of their demanding schedules to invest in their own professional development to succeed in this new world. The Leading Transformation Value-Based Healthcare Executive Education Program addresses this concern with its new hybrid in-person and online program.

There will be only one in-person session available January 15-17. Thereafter, the program will be delivered online on Tuesday evenings from 5:30–7 p.m. thru June 11. The course offers 50+ CME/CEU credits, which will fulfill the requirements for Maryland physician and nurse license renewals.

Tuition for JHU faculty/staff is covered in full by tuition remission. For JHHS clinicians and staff, Kevin Sowers has kindly agreed to extend a $5,000 scholarship to cover half of the $10,000 tuition.

The comprehensive content taught by experts in hands-on, engaging workshops ranges from:

  • core concepts in directing teams
  • successful negotiating
  • building trust to the basics of risk analytics
  • behavioral economics and emotional intelligence
  • the latest healthcare IT systems, as well as all facets of value-based care are explored

Everything developing leaders need to thrive in the current environment of constant change is covered. The program structure of short, in-person beginning, middle and end onsite collaboration combined with web-based lectures respects the busy schedules of health care executives, while delivering unique value to the participants' professional growth.

Applications deadline: Friday, January 4, 2019
