Rachel Levine, associate professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, was named the recipient of the 2019 Diversity Award from the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine (AAIM). This award was created to promote ethnic, racial and gender diversity in departments of internal medicine. Rachel is being honored as an individual who has effectively improved diversity within medical schools and worked to ensure patients of all races and ethnicities receive the highest quality of care.
She will be presented the award Academic Internal Medicine Week in April in Philadelphia.
