Simon Mathews, assistant professor in the Division of Gastroenterology and head of clinical innovation at the Armstrong Institute, recently delivered the keynote address at Lausanne University Hospital in Switzerland as part of the academic medical center's first annual quality and safety day. His presentation entitled, "Driving High Reliability in Hospital Quality and Safety: The Johns Hopkins Medicine Experience" focused on key concepts, practices and tools developed at the Johns Hopkins Medicine Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality.
