Sateia Receives Early Career Physician Award

Heather Sateia, assistant professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, was named the 2019 recipient of the Early Career Physician Award from the Maryland Chapter of the American College of Physicians. This award is given to a member of the Maryland Chapter who is 16 years or less from medical school graduation, highly respected by his/her colleagues for outstanding clinical and leadership skills and who has been a role model in the community. Heather has distinguished herself in service to patients, the physician community and the community at large, and is an educator to patients and the overall medical community.

She will be presented the award at the Annual Maryland Chapter Meeting on February 1-2, 2019.
