Namandje Bumpus, associate professor in the Division of Clinical Pharmacology, was elected to serve a three-year term as councilor for the American Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET). Namandje will be one of three councilors on the ASPET Council and will begin her term on July 1, 2019. ASPET is one of the premier pharmacology societies today and was founded by John Jacob Abel, one of the original Hopkins medical school faculty.
