Residents Named Young Scholars in GIM

Meron Hirpa, junior assistant resident in the Osler Medical Housestaff Training Program, Harita Shah, senior assistant resident in the Medicine-Pediatrics Urban Health Residency Program, and Talía Robledo-Gil, intern in the Osler Medical Housestaff Training Program, were named 2019 Young Scholars in GIM by the Society of General Internal Medicine. These scholarships are designed to give students, interns and residents interested in a career in GIM the opportunity to attend the SGIM Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. in May.

Brittany Badesch, Medicine-Pediatrics senior resident, and Nicky Mehtani, Urban Health senior resident, were awarded SGIM plenary presentations for their research and case report.
