Erin Michos, associate professor in the Division of Cardiology, will lead a task force established to provide guidance on best practices, resources, position statements and advocacy on these issues for members of the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE). The task force is part of the ASE Cares Campaign whose goal is to promote the well-being of all cardiovascular ultrasound professionals in their communities, identify and respond to emerging well-being challenges and foster opportunities for social connection.
The ASE is a professional organization of physicians, cardiovascular sonographers, nurses and scientists involved in echocardiography, the use of ultrasound to image the heart and cardiovascular system.
