Davison Receives Outstanding Faculty Award

Ashwini Davison, assistant professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine and associate director for education in the Division of Health Sciences Informatics, received the 2019 Outstanding Faculty Award for the Population Health Management (PHM) degree program in the Bloomberg School of Public Health. Ashwini is an assistant director for the Masters of Applied Sciences degree program in Population Health Management, which began in 2017. She directs two courses in the program (Essentials of Population Health Management and Managing Health Across the Continuum). She received the award from Mark Bittle, DrPH, MBA, FACHE who is the program director and a senior scientist in health policy and management. In addition to this recent recognition of her contributions to online education, Dr. Davison has previously received the Excellence in Teaching recognition four times from the Center for Teaching and Learning.
