Dulce Cruz-Oliver, assistant professor in the Division of Geriatrics and General Internal Medicine, was named an Emerging Leader in Hospice and Palliative Medicine by the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM). She was selected out of more than 120 nominations in recognition of her career accomplishments, involvement in the academy, mentoring of residents and students and participation in charitable work. Dulce will be recognized at the 2020 Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care in San Diego in March.
