Joeseph Marine, associate professor in the Division of Cardiology, was named chair-elect of the American College of Cardiology Board Of Governors. He will serve as chair–elect for one year beginning April 1, 2020 before becoming chair for one year on April 1, 2021. He will also serve on the ACC Board of Trustees during his two-year term. The Board Of Governors and the Board of Trustees are the highest governing bodies of the ACC.
Garima Sharma, assistant professor in the Division of Cardiology, was named governor-elect of the Maryland Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. She will also begin her one-year term as governor-elect on April 1, 2020 before her three-year term as governor on April 1, 2021.
