2020 Mentored Career Development Award (KL2)

The Clinical Research Scholars Program (KL2) is accepting applications for the 2020 KL2 Mentored Career Development Awards. KL2 supports the career development of junior faculty members dedicated to a career in clinical investigation. This is a three-year program where support is provided for two years by the KL2 and one year by the nominating division/department.

The application deadline is Wednesday, January 15, 2020 by 11:59 p.m.

RSVP to attend one of our information sessions on Monday, Dec. 2 at noon or Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 4 p.m.

Awards consist of:

  • Up to $110,000 in annual salary support (plus fringe) for 2 years
  • Up to $30,000 to support the costs of a degree or training program, research project and other related activities
  • $2,500 annually for travel in support of the award objectives

Applicants must have a research or health professional doctoral degree or equivalent and a full-time faculty appointment in either the SOM, SPH, SOE or SON by the date of receipt of the award (Postdoctoral clinical fellows with pending appointments are eligible).
